Life is all about choices we choose to make or not make. As we go about our careers we are all faced with trying to decide the next step in that career. What should I do? How should I get there? What skills will I need for the next phase of my life. This past week I attended Penn State Mac Admins Confernece. PSU Mac Admins is like summer camp for nerds. IT Admins or folks interested in IT come from all over the world to hang out and discuss Mac administration within their environments. There are also personal development talks to help grow your career as well. Last week I spoke at PSU Mac Admins. My talk was a career orientated talk From Level 0 to IT Support Lead. The talk covered my journey from an Intern at LBL to the IT Support Lead for Thumbtack. For anyone who was able to attend or unable to attend, you can find my slides here with speaker notes.
